In a world full of yes it’s time for you to say no. In this episode, we discuss why it’s important to say no and set boundaries for yourself.
If it doesn’t feel right don’t do it. Yes and no should go off a gut decision that you feel instantly. If it’s not a hell yes, it’s a hell no and when you sit in limbo it just feels like hell.
Boundaries are created for you to respect yourself and your feelings. When we say yes to everything we are saying no to ourselves.
Not setting boundaries and saying yes to everything causes burnout. Burnout alone has so many
When you say no and it feels right to say no you should celebrate it. Celebrate that you are respecting yourself, your body, and your heart. Find JOMO (the joy of missing out) instead of focusing on FOMO (fear of missing out).
Some examples of boundaries you can use in your life:
Having work/life balance.
Limiting your phone and technology use.
Know the difference between complaining and venting with others and set boundaries on complaining aka don’t do it.
Creating ample alone time.
Don’t allow “drop-in’s” from family and friends.
